The website you're on, and the app itself
This page covers two separate things, because they hold different data. First, this marketing site: if you email us or use one of the buttons on the front page, we hold whatever you send us. Second, the Expirata app used by hotel staff: it is built to hold no guest personal data at all, and that has not changed. The rest of this page explains both.
What we collect when you get in touch
What: your email address, whichever of the two buttons you used (joining the early-access list, or asking for general information), and anything you choose to write in the message itself.
Why: solely to reply to you about Expirata, to let you know when early access opens if you've joined that list, or to send the information you asked for. Nothing else, and never passed on for marketing.
Sharing: never shared with, or sold to, any third party.
Keeping it: kept only as long as it takes to have that conversation with you. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will.
Your rights: email to ask what we hold about you or to have it removed.
Legal basis: under UK GDPR, our basis for holding your details is your consent, given by the act of writing to us.
What it does and doesn't hold about guests
Expirata is used by hotel staff to track minibar and in-room stock. It stores room numbers, product codes, dates and counts. It has never stored guest names, bookings, or billing details, and it is built not to.
When staff scan a drawer with the app's camera feature, the photo is processed to count what's present and then discarded. It is never saved or stored.
The app is used by hotel staff in the course of their work, not by hotel guests, and is not offered commercially at this stage.
